Audemars Piguet – A Culinary Curation for the 150th Anniversary Celebration

In August 2025, Chef Alain Pham was invited to curate a bespoke culinary experience for Audemars Piguet during its 150th anniversary celebration in Ho Chi Minh City.

Founded in 1875 in Le Brassus, in the Vallée de Joux, Audemars Piguet is one of the world’s most respected independent Swiss watchmakers, renowned for its deep connection to nature, craftsmanship, and the rugged landscape of the Jura Mountains.
For this milestone anniversary, the maison sought to translate its heritage and sense of place into a refined gastronomic expression.

Alain Pham approached the project as a form of culinary interpretation. Drawing inspiration from the limestone cliffs, alpine valleys, and mineral textures of the Vallée de Joux, the menu was composed as a sequence of small-format creations, each evoking the brand’s origins through form, color, and structure rather than literal representation.

The canapés were designed with sculptural precision and restraint, balancing mineral tones, earthy depth, and delicate contrasts. Each piece was conceived as an object of contemplation – echoing Audemars Piguet’s philosophy of time, craftsmanship, and enduring elegance.

This collaboration reflects Alain Pham’s approach to private events: cuisine as a narrative medium, capable of translating a brand’s identity into a sensory experience that is both discreet and memorable.
