In October 2025, Alain Pham returned to Paris for a professional journey marked by transmission, reconnection, and shared culinary values. The visit brought him back into the circle of the Académie Culinaire de France, one of the oldest and most respected culinary institutions in France, dedicated to the preservation and transmission of classical French gastronomy.

During his stay, Alain reunited with his former professor, Fabrice Prochasson, and engaged in exchanges with chefs from different generations – including members and collaborators of the Académie, some of whom are recipients of major international distinctions such as the Bocuse d’Or. These moments of dialogue and observation formed the core of the visit: discreet, rigorous, and deeply rooted in professional culture.

The journey culminated in the Académie Culinaire de France’s participation in the 150th anniversary celebration of the Opéra de Paris, held in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. For this historic occasion, the Académie was invited to oversee part of the culinary preparations, bringing together an experienced brigade to serve guests within a setting of exceptional cultural significance.

Alain Pham took part in the event as a guest, joining the team in a supporting role alongside senior chefs. Beyond the act of cooking itself, the experience offered a rare perspective into the discipline, coordination, and collective precision required for large-scale ceremonial events of this stature.

This return to Paris reflects an ongoing professional dialogue rather than a single milestone - a continuation of learning, humility, and respect for craft. It stands as a meaningful chapter in Alain Pham’s culinary journey, reinforcing the values of transmission, rigor, and shared excellence that continue to shape his work today.
